I recently purchased a medium suitcase from their website. I asked for a home delivery (not a pick up) but UPS left the suitcase at their UPS drop off point with no attempt made to deliver it to my address as agreed at time of purchase. I tried to change this on the UPS website but I couldn’t even log in. So I emailed American Tourister asking them to honour the home delivery and I’ve yet to receive an email back from them.
The zip was open and side of the case was sliced open ever so slightly. I am frequently traveller and certainly this was totally unexpected. Wish I had read these reviews instead of the ‘best buys’. Complained and have heard nothing from the company for almost a month. Ended up gladwrapping at the airport to protect our stuff falling out of these new 3 suitcases. We ended up paying to Samsonite for repairing these under warranty and Samsonite won’t reimburse you for expensed occured to protect your stuff and won’t guranttee for any future damage. Called company and was told they do not have replacement part.
