Walmart: Ozark Trail 12′ x 12′ Instant Canopy $45

I can’t believe that the poles broke so easily with no wind or any rain to damage it. What would have happened had we gone camping with the teenagers in there? I can’t imagine what kind of damage there would have been had we actually used it to camp. Sorry but it really is not worth the money or time.

I do think the Pelicans pull handle is the lowest on my list of the three. When it comes to the seal, I was again very impressed by this cooler. Cracking this thing open sounds like you are opening the airlock on a spaceship.

Most new tents incorporate this ventilated canopy design to increase airflow and reduce the trapping of hot air, helping to keep those in the shade cooler and more comfortable. The most popular product in their line is the 10×10 Instant Slant Leg Tent with a blue canopy top. It is made with a steel construction frame and polyester material for the canopy, which is in line with just about every shade tent on the market today. The frame is that of a pyramid structure, which are generally found in all value brand canopy tents as they require less material to manufacture vs. that of a full truss system and as a result can keep the price lower.

If you won’t be carrying your tent more than a couple hundred feet, more space means more comfort (as well as more room for your stuff). For this guide, we focused on tents that suit the most common terrains you’re likely to encounter when car-camping—grassy lawns or clearings, beaches, dirt campsites, and basic platforms—in spring, summer, and fall. We’re not looking at tents designed for such specialized activities as mountaineering, backpacking, or winter camping, ozark trail canopy though some of our recommendations have cross-over potential. Yeti has clearly set themselves apart as the biggest player in the cooler space. Since they launched, they have carved out an incredible market share delivering products across the board from coolers to dog bowls. While they have solidified their place as a brand, they have not gone beyond some of their original design features which has allowed competition to come in and provide a few more core offerings.

The first step is extending and unfolding the steel frame for the canopy. Only open it halfway to make the canopy attachment easier. Locate the corner pockets of the canopy material and arrange them over the corners of the frame, using the hook and loop straps on the canopy’s underside to secure it to the frame at each corner. So I called the company requesting new poles and a month later I have yet to see my new poles. Rain fly is too big — it needs one side cut differently to allow to get in and out of the tent. Also using a ground cover under the tent (seems obvious to me) will help prevent water from coming in from the underside of the tent.

If you click on the slant leg canopy, parts that are available will pop up. It’s easy to put up and you must make sure to always use the tie-downs. You never know when the wind will pick it up and blow it away. Lighter weight than most but wanted it easier to carry and load in the camper. I will never buy an Ozark Trail tent in my life and I will tell everyone I know that if they buy one what to expect. And that is you will never be dry in one because they suck bad. Only complaint was the zipper hangs on the front door flap, destroyed flap and zipper. They claim they are weather tested, but I feel they don’t include rain or wind as elements of the weather. Thank you OZARK for making camping nights with small children just a little more difficult!!!!
