One of the most affordable, but still decent quality, entry level electric bikes. Low step design is easy to mount, adjustable neck and shock add comfort, twist throttle…… As a hybrid bike, the Genesis Bella Vista is designed to provide the best of both worlds – the comfort of a road bike and the ruggedness of a mountain bike. Its ergonomic design and wide, comfortable saddle make it great for commuting or leisurely rides, while the robust frame and broad tires make it capable of taking on off-road trails. The Genesis™ bicycle rack has the simple “floating” concentric rings that look like an attractive outdoor sculpture.

Almost the antithesis of the Day One, the Flyer is sublime in its simplicity. It employs easily adjustable rim brakes, a single 42×17 gear, and it has mudguards to keep the spray off. Although the frame is steel, it’s relatively lightweight with a carbon fork and no excess components weighing it down. Due to being disc brake only, the bridge between the seatstays could be removed.

Built for comfort and a smooth ride, the Genesis Onex Cruiser bike is a great choice for leisurely rides in the city. With a stylish design, easy-to-use coaster brakes, and a comfortable saddle, it makes for an enjoyable and relaxing ride. Its single-speed mechanism ensures simplicity, making it an ideal option for those new to biking or those looking for a stress-free ride. Finding the center of the brand design was based on our uncovering the “truth in materials” position.

With the right maintenance and professional assembly from a company like National Assemblers, you can enjoy your genesis bike for years to come. Here at National Assemblers, we understand that assembling a bike can be a daunting task. With testing complete, we release two bikes built for adventure – the Datum (faster, lighter Croix) and Vagabond (the Croix’s mad aunt). There’s also room for a new mountain bike that takes 27.5 plus tyres, or regular 29ers. We’ve partnered with Freewheel as a solution to offer Genesis bikes online whilst supporting local bike shops at the same time. Each online sale supports the selected bike shop with a percentage of your sale, whether you choose to click & collect or get it delivered straight to your door.

When full, these same concentric rings park bikes safely and securely. The Genesis™ offers two contact points, at front and rear, for locking. The unique concentric design of the Genesis™ bike rack helps guide bikes into proper parking position while providing double the parking space of typical serpentine racks. They include five flat bar ‘Day One’ models, the singlespeed drop bar Flyer and seven hardtail mountain bikes. Sitting somewhere in the middle was the Vapour – a cyclo-cross bike that would occupy our thoughts around bikes that can go further… There are, however, a number of points that make this a more versatile bike than the carbon alternative.

There aren’t a whole lot of dealers that carry this bike right now, in part because I believe their margins are very low, but it is available online. If you do get it over the Internet there will be some assembly involved and it can take some effort to work with. Ultimately, you get power and decent range here but only genesis bicycles have a twist throttle to take advantage of it. Pedal assist adds cost and complexity but helps when climbing hills and ultimately extends your range while giving your wrist a break. The pack on this bike is removable and feels pretty solid but the rack it mounts to is high up and fairly rigid which creates more strain.
