However, we have personally washed the Ozark brand water bottles and tumblers in the dishwasher at my house without issue for years. The 10 hour mark was where the biggest differences began to show. I don’t necessarily think one is better than the other, and they are all high enough that they can still fit in a cup holder. Once the lids are placed on to the Tumblers you can see a bit more in relation to how they work. With the locking lid, there appears to be more heat transference than the open mouth lid. Even with the locking lid absorbing more heat, it does provide a few degrees more heat retention over time. With a price point below $10, you are able to get 4 of the 32oz Ozark Trail Tumblers for a price that is comparable to 1 of the competitions 30oz tumblers, which to me is a huge win. Watching ice melt was probably the most difficult task of the tests I performed—only because it seemed to take forever for the ice to melt in each tumbler.

In total I had 6 of their double wall vacuum insulated thermoses, ranging in size from the 10oz Tumbler up to the 32oz Tumbler. All in all, both mugs do an incredible job at insulating both hot and cold drinks for hours on end. Additionally, when holding each tumbler, I couldn’t feel any heat or chill through the material, which makes either ideal for drinking exceptionally hot or cold drinks. The Ozark Trail tumbler won our second ice retention challenge, this time but a wider margin. It held ice in brutal Alabama August heat for 12 hours and 42 minutes. One reason the Ozark Trail tumbler held ice so much longer may be due to the fact that the sun was so low in the sky.
They come highly recommended for a reason, and there isn’t one I would say is not worth the investment. However, that the Yeti and the Hydroflask are the most expensive ones. Both great tumblers, but it seems pretty clear you don’t need to spend that kind of money to get something fantastic. I think it’s safe to say that you can find a tumbler on ozark trail backpack any budget. One thing to consider while shopping is wether or not the tumbler comes with all of the accessories you might need.

Any of the lids with an open drink area are going to just pour out if you have a straw in. You can take the straw out and close the tab, which will help. It’s worth noting that the Ironflask does not have that capability.
