We have visited 46 countries and this trip rates at the top with much of the credit going to Laurence. He provided a personally-prepared information sheet during the initial orientation meeting that proved invaluable throughout the trip. There are many reasons why it was great, most of all was our tour director, Renier. He was a delight, went above and beyond what I and others would have expected. He was knowledgeable, conversant, and just a wonderful human being. Additionally, we had a very cohesive group of 36 people, and we bonded well.
All of the hotels were top tier, but the Angata Serengeti camp took it to another level. The staff greeted us with a cool towel, a drink and a song. After dinner they made a fire, and we were able to sit under the schwinn mountain bicycles stars listening to the sounds of animals.
He was schwinn mountain bicycles always very kind, and I can’t say enough amazing things about him. I would come back and do it again if I could afford it just to have him as my driver again Pride was my favorite stay, but Lake Elementaita was great too. I just wish we could’ve stayed there another day also.
I have traveled with other tour companies before, but this was my first time traveling with Gate 1 and the entire process has been seamless. How lucky was I That there were only 2 other guests. The best thing about it was our guide Godliving. He was the smartest, well versed mongoose excursion , caring and so loyal to gate 1.
